Your first option is dug-in timber posts, which are available in different specifications to suit the task at hand. While our standard spec has the posts at 2m centres, alterations to materials and design can let us increase the centres of the posts up to 2.8m. If you require approved designs and engineer’s calculations, these can be provided upon request.

Freestanding

Fixed to Other
If space is a concern and you have a scaffold in place on site, then this may be the perfect solution for your construction site hoarding. By opting for this method, hoarding companies bypass the need for digging in, or relying on concrete or ballast boxes. Instead, hoardings are directly fixed to scaffold uprights. This form of hoarding installation can establish fully enclosed walkways that are neatly designed, incorporating soffits and low level boxed sections.
Keep in mind that we will need to be in contact with your chosen scaffolding contractor before we get to work implementing your hoardings, to ensure that the design doesn’t undermine max loads and other important safety considerations.

Pankhurst Contracting Ltd has designed its own in-house capture foot mechanism, which enables our team to erect construction site hoarding up to 3.2m in height. This requires the minimum of an 80mm concrete embedment, making it suited to sites around Chelsea, the City of London, Hackney, Islington, Kensington, Lambeth, Southwark, Westminster, Wandsworth and Newham on concrete hardstandings.

Perspex & Timber Hoarding Installation
An effective solution for low-light areas and those where visibility is an important factor, these hoardings feature see-through Perspex upper sections. Our standard configuration sees wood and Perspex each contribute 1.2m, for a total height of 2.4m. However, we can cut these to different sizes for a bespoke finished product. This is a popular option for tunnelled walkways around London.
